Nice work. I've been trying my hand with polymer clay alot too lately. I've used perlex powders (I don't know if my spelling is right.) on my stuff. Some of it does oxidize when you bake it. I don't know if that is really the process that is going on, but I did lose some of the density of the applied color. Still looks good though. I looked at the sketch that you've been working from. This kinda comes together with the comment that you made on one of your photos, that you liked blood. When I looked at your sculpture, I was reminded of bloody entrails artfully coming out of her body. Then I saw the pic. Oh, hair I thought. I'm not sure if you were going for that duality, hair/entrails, but hey, I like it. Makes her frightening and edgey and creepy and beautiful. Look forward to the finished product.
